Former Nickelodeon star and actress Ariana Grande, at 30, is one of the most widely recognized pop artists. She is originally from Bacon Raton, Florida, U.S. Ariana is a songwriter, fashion designer, actress, and music producer.

She is a vegan, as revealed on her Twitter handle in 2013. The ex-Nicklodeon star is allergic to cats even though she played Cat Valentine in Nicklodeon’s Sam & Cat (2013) and Victorious (2010).

Grande is well known for her songs like One Last Time (2014), Save Your Tears (2020), thank u, next (2019). She has also starred in movies like Zoolander 2 (2016), Swindle (2013), Don’t Look Up (2021), Foosball (2013), and more.

Some of her most popular albums include Positions (2020), My Everything (2014), Dangerous Woman (2014) and Thank U, Next (2019) among many more. Her list of accolades includes a Brit Award, Two Grammies, Two Billboards, and nine MTV Video Music Awards.

The 30-year-old star enjoys a game of Monopoly now and then as revealed by @MLSELIVE on X. Monopoly is an easy-to-learn board game and Ariana loves it so much that a concert venue in Canada made a personalized Monopoly figure for her.

 

2) Grande can vocally impersonate people

Ariana stole the show when she impersonated American actress Jennifer Lawrence on Saturday Night Live. She can also impersonate other celebrities including Britney Spears and Christiana Aguilera as she revealed her talent on ~ The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Ariana is so much a Potterhead that she has named one of her dogs after Sirius Black as she revealed on her Instagram feed. Sirius is a fictional character in The Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling.

 

4) Ariana Grande’s favorite film is Bruce Almighty

Ariana, who is an actor herself loves watching horror movies. However, her favorite film is Bruce Almighty (2003), a non-horror one, directed by Tom Shadyac.

This film stars Jim Carrey, Morgan Freeman, Catherine Bell, and Jennifer Aniston among others. Ariana loved this movie so much that she recreated a scene of this movie on stage once.

 

5) Ariana was never in the school choir

Although a world-famous singer now, Ariana Grande’s talent was not discovered in school. She was never a part of the school choir as revealed by her on her Instagram feed.

Even though she was not a part of the choir, it did not demotivate Ariana. She made her musical debut at the age of 15 with the song Put Your Hearts Up, released on December 12, 2011—this record-breaking song sold 170000 downloads by August 2013.

 

6) Grande’s last name was not pronounced as “Grahn day” by her grandpa

In an interview with Beats One, the ex-Nickelodeon star revealed that her grandpa did not pronounce her last name as many of us do – “Grahn-day”

 

Ariana Grande told the interviewer –

“My brother was like, we should say ‘Gran-day.’ It’s so fun to say it. I grew up saying ‘Grand-ee’ and I think of my grandpa and I wish I said ‘Grand-ee’ more.”
